Sonepur Mela 'Art & Crafts Village'

I am so pleased to restart the blog after a long period of inactivity. That is also true for my YouTube channel which is almost touching 10k subs, and other social media handles. BTW this post will be updated slowly in next few hours and days when I will add more information to it. So I suggest that you make a bookmark of the same and keep checking it.

I had been to the grand 'SonepurMela in Sonepur, Bihar, last November (2017), and was luckily there on the very first day of the fair, which was the occasion of holy #KartikPurnima. Have a look at the 'Art and Craft' village of this famous fair, taken on the first day.

My visit to the Matsya Darshini Aquarium Visakhapatnam

I had the oppertunity to visit the Matsya Darshini public aquarium in Visakhapatnam during my trip to the port city in mid - June 2017.  Located on the famous 'Ramakrishna beach', this is quite a popular tourist destination and is both frequented by tourists and locals. However I had (maybe - ) the rare privilege of being the only visitor that day. Matsya Darshini aquarium houses a moderate collection of marine creatures, which is not disappointing however. If you are visiting the aquarium then don't miss to visit the tank of the very intelligent 'Giant Gourami' fish (the last one from entrance, adjacent to the office).
